Once upon a time, in a cozy little forest, there lived a fox named Maximus. Maximus loved nothing more than to hang out next to a warm fireplace on a cold winter’s night. The warm glow of the fire was the perfect backdrop as he planned his next big adventure, dreaming of the delicious meals he would catch and the new friends he would make. He knew that with the fire’s warmth in his heart, he could conquer anything.
One evening, as he was settling in for the night, he noticed a group of bugs huddled together in the corner, shivering from the cold. Feeling generous, Maximus invited the bugs to join him by the fire. The bugs were overjoyed and thanked Maximus profusely.
Feeling proud of his kindness, Maximus closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep. But as the night went on, the bugs started to act a bit too comfortable. They began to crawl all over him, tickling his nose and getting into his ears. Maximus tried to shake them off, but they just wouldn’t leave.
Finally, he sat up and exclaimed, “I guess I should have told you bugs that this is a Fox-only fireplace, no bugs allowed!” The bugs apologized profusely and quickly scurried away, leaving Maximus to finally have a peaceful night’s sleep by the warm fire. From then on, Maximus made sure to specify the rules before inviting any guests to share his fire.
